Sprout is growing up

The Sprout upgrade has sprung. It has been in the works for some time now and we hope you'll be happy with the huge upgrade to this very versatile theme. We've packed in a lot of new features as well as reworked many of the old ones.

In this upgrade we've added all of the basic RapidWeaver 3.6 features, such as Tag Clouds, EXIf Photo data stylings, updated blog stylings, and more. But where Sprout really shines now is in its ability to use the RW 3.6 color picker. You'll find Sprout's old Site Styles gone, but just move down to the color picker and choose any color you like for the following areas of your site.

• Content background
• Header
• Footer
• Site title
• Link color
• Footer link color
• Menu text
• Menu bar

With the click of the mouse your site will be instantly transformed using your own color palette. Don't have an eye for color schemes? Don't worry about it. We've also included 11 built-in color schemes to help you get started.

We've also included a slew of Blocks library items for use in Blocks 3.0+. Also included is a background variation for Sprout that allows you to place a large (quite large - 2000 x 1000 pixels) behind your site's content.

When you receive your download it will contain two versions of the Sprout theme. Inside you'll find the main version for RapidWeaver 3.6+. We have also included a version for RapidWeaver 3.5 for those who have not, or do not want to, upgrade to RapidWeaver 3.6.

If you are upgrading from a previous version of this theme, be sure to first delete the original theme. This is necessary since the upgrade replaces some of the older features in Sprout with new, more powerful options. To do so, right-click (or crtl-click) on the theme in RapidWeaver's theme drawer and select 'Delete' from the popup menu. When you've completed this step exit RapidWeaver and follow the normal installation instructions, which are also included in the package's ReadMe file.
